What is it?
The quick-connect coupling is a specialized fitting designed to create a leak-tight circuit during hydrostatic testing at pressures up to 30 MPa. It installs onto the end of a coil pipe or heating surface without threading or welding.

The traditional pressure testing method requires cutting/welding a cap, and after testing — cutting it off and welding the hole shut. This is labor-intensive and costly.
